Every guest room and every Imperial Club room comes two ways: west toward open Gulf, or east down the trunk of the Palm toward Dubai Marina and the Burj Khalifa. The room, the size and the bed are the same either way. Ocean gives you horizon and sunset and nothing else. Palm gives you a wall of towers that switches on at dusk. The Palm side costs a little more, and there is no third choice.
An Imperial Club King is the same 45 square metres as an Ocean King, with the same bed. What is different is the lounge: unlimited breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening drinks with canapés, high up with the sea in the windows. It also comes with a private stretch of beach, a marine-animal credit, and a concierge looking after a few dozen rooms rather than 1,500.
A two-bedroom here is the one-bedroom version with a full guest room attached — its own bathroom, its own balcony, a door between.
The Two Bedroom Terrace Suite is the plainest case: a 47-square-metre guest room added to the 94-square-metre Terrace Suite, 141 square metres in all.
The Two Bedroom Family Room, the Two Bedroom Family Club Room, the Two Bedroom Skyline Suite and the Two Bedroom Regal Suite are all built the same way. It is a good answer for 2 couples, or for children old enough to want their own door.
Rates here move with the nights you choose, so there is nothing honest to show until you have chosen them. Pick your dates above and the rooms the house sells online will price themselves.

The Terrace Suite is 94 square metres and has the largest outdoor space here.
The Skyline Suite is 101, with the view from the bath as well as the bed.
The Regal Suite is 164, with a majlis and a private bar. The 3 Signature Suites above them are something else again: an aquarium wall, a pool table and a private kitchen, or 429 square metres with 5 balconies and a treatment room.
The Underwater Suite, the Presidential Suite and the Grand Atlantis Suite sell on a rate that cannot be cancelled or changed, and there are only 1 or 2 of each. Book one and you are committed from that moment. They also include the most: a butler on a 24-hour rota, check-in in the suite, a car from the airport, and dinner cooked in the suite by one of the signature kitchens.
