Skyline Suite

The suite is 7 square metres more than the Terrace Suite, with less outside and more height, and a plan arranged so the view is in the bedroom and the bathroom as well as the living room. The bedroom door frames the sitting room beyond it; a full-height mirror beside the bed carries the skyline back into the room from the window opposite.

It is the suite for two people rather than for a party. The living room seats 6 around a dining table, and the outdoor space is a balcony rather than a terrace, so the suite happens indoors. Imperial Club access, the airport car, in-suite breakfast, daily AWAKEN facilities and two kids' club sessions all come with it. Connecting-room option, which is what makes the two-bedroom version.

The room

Its living room, sofa and armchair round a low black table with tulips on it, a dining table for four under a three-shade pendant, and full-height glass onto the balcony.

Coffee laid for two on the balcony, and below it the resort's own pool and beach, the bay of the Crescent, and the fronds of the Palm running away toward the mainland.

The Skyline Suite's second bathroom: an abstract painting in blue and grey, an oval tub on its own plinth, and a lit double vanity with amber honeycomb tiling behind it.
