The Skyline Suite, doubled. Its own advantage is that the view reaches the bedroom and the bathroom as well as the living room; add a connecting Ocean or Palm Queen and the second pair get their own version of it, with their own bathroom and their own balcony.

It is 148 square metres: 6 adults and a child, one king and two queens. The shared space is the Skyline's living and dining room, which seats 6 comfortably rather than generously — this is the suite for a family who will spend the day out of it, not the one for entertaining. Imperial Club access, the airport car, in-suite breakfast and two daily kids' club sessions come with it, and the Tourism Dirham is charged twice because there are two bedrooms.

The room

The Connecting Option: an ordinary guest room with 2 queen beds, its own balcony over the Gulf and its own door, joined to the suite rather than built into it.
