The room is deliberately quiet about itself: clean lines, low light off a few standing lamps, and glass down one side onto the countryside and the Aravali hills.
The walls carry original paintings of Devigarh's former rulers and historic photographs of the palace. Nothing else hangs in the room.
It serves twice a day and the 2 sittings look nothing alike. At breakfast the glass does the work; after dark you cannot see out of it at all.
