The room's own name is cut into the stone over the inner door, in Devanagari.
Roses are carved into the spandrels either side of the outer arch, there are 2 small shuttered niches set into the wall at head height, and the whole front of it stands on marble columns.
A second doorway beyond the seating opens into a further room with a bright window at the end of it, so from this end you are looking down a run of arches into daylight.
