Janana means maidens, and this was the palace's women's quarters.
It is open to everyone now.
Two storeys of white plaster stand round a floor of black stone, small cusped windows and jharokha balconies along the upper level, and at ground level an arcade whose recesses are laid with white bolsters to sit on.
The swing hangs at one end from a tall frame, and it is a great deal older than the fountain it stands beside.
