The room runs a chain of scalloped stone arches down its length, terracotta and teal against pale stone, ending at a mirrored Art Deco doorway that gives the whole space a theatrical finish.
Chef Roberto Rispoli, from Pompeii, brings 20 years of Mediterranean cooking to a northern Italian menu built around the glamour of Italy's Golden Age. A private chef's table is also offered, for a smaller, more intimate service.
