The back-bar is a fan of carved, mirrored panels standing like a spread peacock tail, lit warm behind rows of spirits, with palm-leaf reliefs either side of it.

The menu leans Japanese in small, shareable plates, built to keep a table going rather than to close it, and the room is at its fullest once the weekend runs past midnight.
