The pool is a long blue rectangle set between sandstone piers, with the bar working off the shaded end of it.
Nothing about it needs shoes.
There is a separate, smaller pool for children, so the long one is left to swimming.
The other water here is on the Lakeshore roof, a boat ride away, and it makes for a different afternoon altogether. This one is for staying put.
