Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach

The resort sits on Jumeirah Beach Road, under 15 minutes by road from downtown Dubai, with the airport 14.5 kilometres away, about 25 minutes the other direction. It opened in 2014, and holds 13 grades across 5 floors, from an entry room to a 600-square-metre Royal Suite on the top one. Every grade takes up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and under, and every one is fitted with a refrigerated bar, an espresso machine and an iPad Mini for calling on the resort's services.

The 5 entry grades share one size, 70 square metres, and differ only by outlook and floor: Deluxe Partial Sea-View Room looks out over the sea and gardens from a private balcony, floors 2 to 5; Deluxe City-View Room takes the city and the Jumeirah residential streets behind it, floors 1 to 5; Deluxe Resort-View Room turns inward to the grounds, with a daybed built for it, floors 1 and 2; Dubai Premium Skyline Room catches the sunrise over the skyline from floors 3 to 5; Premier Sea-View Room is the full sea view among the 5, also floors 2 to 5. Above them, the suites double the space: Jumeirah Sea-View Suite and Jumeirah Skyline Suite are both 136 square metres, one on the sea from a private balcony, the other over the skyline with 2 balconies of its own and a dining table for 4; Sea-View Suite and Executive Suite are both 108, one on a partial sea view, the other over the city. Every suite adds a guest powder room beside its own marble bathroom. At the top, on the resort's 5th floor, Royal Suite looks over the sea and beach, Penthouse Suite over the sea, and Presidential Suite over a corner view of the sea, the pools and the gardens; Imperial Suite, across floors 1 to 4, is the one grade in this top band not on the 5th floor, and keeps the same sea-and-beach balcony view as Royal Suite.

The concierge is where the resort's threads gather — a limousine transfer from the airport, a table at any of the 12 restaurants and bars, Restaurant Village included, a treatment at The Pearl, or a morning with Kids For All Seasons for children aged 4 to 12.

What is here

The Private Beach
The resort's own beach runs 270 metres along the Arabian Gulf, reached down from the pool deck. Cabanas sit along the sand and beside the pools, with shaded seating and their own service; water sports run from jet skis and parasailing to stand-up paddleboards and kayaks, from 10 in the morning until sunset.
3 Pools
An adults-only pool sits among palms and frangipani trees; a family pool nearby keeps a shallow end for children and shaded cabanas for parents; an indoor lap pool runs under a glass ceiling, heated year-round. Outdoor pools are open from 8 in the morning to sunset, the indoor pool from 7 in the morning to 8 at night, and food is served poolside from 11 until sunset.
The Pearl Spa and Wellness
10 treatment rooms sit around a tranquil indoor pool and a fitness centre with its own equipment. Spa facilities are open from 11 in the morning to 8 at night, and treatments run until a quarter to 7. A tennis court and 2 padel courts sit alongside, open from 7 in the morning to 9 at night and from a quarter past 7 until sundown; the fitness centre itself runs around the clock, with a staff attendant on hand from 7 in the morning to 8 at night.
Restaurant Village
Opposite the resort's entrance, a curved building holds 6 restaurants that run independently of the resort and take their own reservations: Nammos, Nusr-Et, Coya, Mimi Kakushi, Scalini and Verde.
Getting Around
The airport is 14.5 kilometres away, about 25 minutes by road, and downtown Dubai is under 15 minutes in the other direction. The concierge arranges a limousine transfer, a rental car or a driver for the day.

Kids For All Seasons. A complimentary kids' club runs daily from 10 in the morning to 7 at night for children aged 4 to 12, with its own toys, games and supervised activities. A babysitter can be arranged through the concierge with 24 hours' notice, for an hourly fee.

In-Room Dining, Around the Clock. Room service runs on 3 named menus that cover the full day: a Sunrise Menu from 7 in the morning to noon, a Sunshine to Sunset Menu from noon to midnight, and a Moonlight Menu overnight until 7 in the morning. Breakfast in bed, a meal on your own terrace or a working lunch all arrive the same way, at any hour, for a delivery charge of about AED 25.

Deluxe Partial Sea-View Room, Deluxe City-View Room, Deluxe Resort-View Room, Dubai Premium Skyline Room and Premier Sea-View Room are all 70 square metres. Only the outlook and the floor band change: partial sea from floors 2 to 5, city from floors 1 to 5, the resort's gardens from floors 1 and 2, the skyline from floors 3 to 5, and a full sea view from floors 2 to 5. Choose by the view, not the size — it is identical across all 5.

Room or suite

A suite roughly doubles a room's floor space and adds a guest powder room beside the main marble bathroom.

Jumeirah Sea-View Suite and Jumeirah Skyline Suite are both 136 square metres; Sea-View Suite and Executive Suite are both 108. None of the 8 suite and specialty-suite grades below states a queen-bed alternative — every one is a fixed king.

Jumeirah Sea-View Suite takes the sea from a private balcony; Jumeirah Skyline Suite takes the city from 2 balconies of its own, with a dining table for 4 and a large walk-in closet.

Sea-View Suite takes a partial sea view; Executive Suite takes the city and the Jumeirah residential streets. Each pair is identical in size and differs only by what is through the window.
