Everything off the charcoal arrives with biwaz bread and a skewer of grilled vegetables beside it.
A grill order here is already most of a meal.
The drinks stay Lebanese all the way down: ayran with mint, lemonade, iced teas made with apple, beetroot and kiwi. In Ramadan the list adds jallab poured over nuts, and apricot qamar el deen.
Shisha closes the evening, single flavour or double.
