For Children, and Then for Teenagers. The Eco-Beach Discovery Centre is a few steps from the sand and is a proper building: exploratory gardens, a nature museum, a craft centre, and a daily programme for 5- to 12-year-olds that runs from Thai cooking and dance to batik workshops, a critter safari along the beach, and a treasure hunt built around the Andaman pirates. Next to it the Hot Spot is aimed squarely at teenagers — a rope-free bouldering wall, a skateboard halfpipe, a digital room with GoPros and editing kit, a DJ scratch class and a screening room. There is a junior wellness programme too, from 5 up: yoga, Pilates, Thai boxing, swimming and tennis, with treatments adapted for children.
Wellness Immersions, and the Djokovic Programme. The Immersions are programmes rather than packages. An Original Immersion runs a minimum of 3 nights, with a personalised nutrition plan, movement sessions and targeted therapies but no medical diagnostics; an Intensive runs a minimum of 5 and brings in consultations and a full set of diagnostics. There is a one-day Taste of Wellness for anyone who wants to understand the idea before committing a week to it. A 3-day mobility and recovery retreat was built here with Novak Djokovic, Aman's global wellness ambassador, and this is the property it was made for.
Arranged From Here. There are 5 international golf courses within 45 minutes, Blue Canyon among them, and the clubs go with you. Khao Phra Thaeo National Park is a 4-hour morning walk through the last of Phuket's rainforest, with white-backed palms, racket-tailed drongos and gibbons in the trees. Phuket Old Town's Sino-Portuguese shophouses are worth the drive on a Sunday evening, when Walking Street closes to traffic and fills with food stalls and buskers. And there are masterclasses on the property, taught by the people who cook there: pasta and risotto with Arva's Italian chef, sushi at Akari's counter, southern Thai curry paste ground by hand at Buabok, and cocktails with the Sunset Terrace's mixologist.
