Two of the 50-square-metre pavilions, each with its own king bed and its own large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, set either side of a shared terrace. The terrace is the reason to take it: 162 square metres, with a private pool, a sun deck, a lounging sala and a dining sala, all of it facing the Andaman with the hillside planting closing it in behind.

There is one of these, and it sleeps 4 — two couples, or a family who want the children asleep behind their own door rather than a curtain. It costs a great deal less than the smallest villa.
