The main pool empties at about 6 in the evening and the room turns over with it.

Cloths go on and the lights come down. The loudest corner of the resort becomes one of the quietest inside an hour.

Dinner is a full menu drawn from several kitchens rather than one country. Half board is at its most generous here: 3 courses straight off that menu, rather than a credit set against the bill.
