The room is dark, low, and small enough to hear the person across from you.
A banquette in gold damask runs the length of one wall under a painted mural, and the tables in front of it are round, laid with gold-rimmed Versace plates. The lamps are kept down so the candles do the work.
The glass on the east side gives onto the Creek, which after 6 goes from green to bronze to black with the far bank lit along it. The cooking takes its lead from Milan and Florence.
