The buffet runs the length of the hall, and on Saturdays the brunch takes the terrace with it.
It is about AED 350 a head with soft drinks, children of 4 to 11 eat for about AED 165, and infants go free. There is a DJ, a magician, and a programme laid on for the children so their parents can stay at the table.
The crockery is the Rosenthal Meets Versace line, drawn from Les Reves Byzantines, and the terrazzo underfoot is laid in the same greens and ivories as the walls. Tables go down in twos and fours along the glass, with the terrace running outside it.
The dinner buffet and the theme nights that went with it — Asian one night, Arabic the next, a seafood spread on Saturdays — are closed for now, with no date set for their return. The room belongs to the morning and to Saturday.
