This is the first marina and yacht club Bvlgari has built.
The tables run inside and out, over a harbour of 46 moored boats, and the whole arrangement is meant to read as a Mediterranean waterfront.
The lounge alongside takes its cues from sailing: a walkway of sailboat timber, chrome parapets, a raised platform laid out like a ship's interior, cream leather seats copied from Riva yachts, teak underfoot. It holds a library of classics and Bvlgari's own photography books, and it runs from 5 in the afternoon until 2 in the morning.
The club's pool is the family end of it, with the Little Gems Clvb, cabanas and sunbeds to rent on the upper deck, and Italian bites from its own bar all day. There is a set lunch too, of 2 courses or 3.
