Il Caffè

Breakfast is served from 7 in the morning until 11 at night, so it is never too late for one.

Start with a maritozzo and whipped cream, or a basket of Niko Romito's bread with manteca butter and organic jams, and a freshly squeezed juice.

Lunch is Roman: pizza fritta, focaccia with stracchino, prosciutto and figs, supplì of tomato and mozzarella, and linguine with Mediterranean clams. Afternoon tea starts at 3, with organic loose-leaf tea, scones with chestnut honey and orange, and small versions of Romito's pastries. The Bvlgari tea adds a flute of Ruinart.

Dessert can be a whole fruit filled with sorbet, or a slice of cake from the display case. The list ends with Bvlgari chocolate gems, sold by the piece.
