You reserve a seat rather than a table — a lounger, a double day-bed, a cabana, or the two-storey pavilion at the end of the deck.
Staying in the hotel does not get you up here without one, and the best of them go early.
The morning and the evening are different places. Early it is flat water and almost nobody; by sunset the bar is full and the city has come on behind the edge.
The kitchen runs a raw bar of oysters, caviar and a seafood tower, and a full carte of large plates behind it. There is a wagyu carpaccio with egg yolk jam, and a spaghetti with black truffle.
