The design is art deco and understated with it.
Nothing in the room insists on itself, and the service follows suit — attentive, and pitched a notch below the rest of the hotel.
There are two ways to sit outside. A verandah runs along the room, and beyond it a wide terrace opens out under the palms.
The terrace keeps a list of its own, pairing regional Indian cooking with European classics. Inside, the room is rarely quiet.
