The Outdoor Pool. The pool holds its temperature year-round and runs the length of a terrace looking over the valley, with cabana daybeds set either side and a thatched pavilion at the top of the steps behind it.
J Wellness Circle. The spa runs across 2,800 square metres, its treatments organised around 5 elements — water, air, fire, earth and space — and built on Ayurveda: Abhyanga, a full-body oil treatment; Katibasti, warm oil held over the lower back in a ring of dough; a traditional Coorg hot-water bath called the Gudda; and a scrub of local coffee, avocado and rice developed for this resort. A second pool, circular and set under a covered deck, sits apart for guests using the spa.
The Fitness Centre. Open around the clock, with free weights, cardio machines and its own windows onto the forest — built for anyone from a first workout to a serious training block.
Treks, Coffee and the Forest Around It. A concierge arranges guided treks and nature walks through the estate and the forest around it, coffee tastings, and cookery lessons in the kitchen. The rainforest reserve the resort sits inside doubles as a wildlife corridor between summer and winter, and falcons are among the birds seen over the grounds.
A Private Table, Anywhere on the Estate. A dinner for two can be arranged at a location of your choosing across the property, planned in advance around what you would rather eat, rather than at a set table in one of the 5 restaurants.
