Le Jardin, and the Kitchen Garden. The garden grows food as well as flowers. Organic vegetables come up in season for the chefs, and the medicinal plants of the bio-aromatic garden go into the infusions served to guests.
The Spa, the Indoor Pool and the Gym. The spa covers 2,500 square metres on 3 floors and is open daily from 9 in the morning until 9 at night. There are 10 treatment rooms, a hair and beauty salon, Bastien Gonzalez's Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio, and 3 spa suites, each with its own hammam, treatment room, plunge pool and terrace over the gardens. The heated indoor pool is 22 metres long, under an orangery glass roof that fills with sun. The gym never closes, and yoga and Pilates are taught in the spa or out in the gardens. For a longer stay, the wellness programmes for weight control, rejuvenation, rebalancing or immunity run over 3, 5, 7 or 14 days.
The concierge holds the Clés d'Or and makes a plan for each guest. A private guide can take you through the medina's alleys and hidden funduqs, to the Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs and the Majorelle Garden. The concierge also books a horse-drawn carriage across the city, or a day in the Atlas Mountains, an hour away by car. It can also arrange a visit to the perfumer Serge Lutens' house in the old medina, dinner under a 100-year-old false pepper tree lit by 1,001 candles at Dar el Sadaka, or breakfast in a hot-air balloon at sunrise.
