Mezzeh under olive trees and stained glass, and the room people go back to
Restaurant

The interior is built as a terrace that happens to be indoors.
Olive trees stand in the room and the windows are stained glass, so the light that reaches the tables has already been coloured. Outside, in the gardens, there is a real terrace as well.
The mezzeh is where the length shows. The cold list alone runs to 14 plates, hummus in 3 versions among them, and the hot list is the same size again. Past it sit a raw-meat section, an oven section, and the fattet dishes built over bread and yoghurt.
The drinks stay close to home. Lebanese wine from the Bekaa Valley and Batroun runs down most of the list, there are 5 anise spirits with 3 araks among them, and a few Greek and Georgian bottles sit beside them.

He is Lebanese, and he makes the mezzeh fresh every day rather than in advance.
