Restaurant
Veranda is a room built almost entirely of glass.
In summer the walls fold back, and when the weather allows, tables are laid on the terrace above the water. The gardens run down one side and the Mosaic sits in front.
The wine is the second reason people come. Alex Bartoli has been Wine Director since 2022, and in that time the list has gone from 300 labels to more than 10,000.
Anyone may take a table here, whether or not they are staying on the estate.

He joined Villa d'Este in 2004 and now runs a kitchen of 60 cooks.
