The terrace is the point of it.
It sits on the water under chestnut trees, with jasmine growing through them.
A pianist plays in the evenings, from 7.30 to 8.45 and again from 10 until midnight — 12.30 on Saturdays.
Afternoon tea is served here too, and it changes with the calendar. In winter it comes with pastries, small savoury things and a glass of champagne; the rest of the year it is a list of teas with warm biscuits or a dessert of your choosing.
