Banded blue-and-white marble columns stand under a carved coffered ceiling, a curved navy velvet sofa sits in the middle of the room with armchairs drawn round it, and the terrace outside looks down the waterway.
The tea is about AED 220 a head, or about AED 345 with a glass of champagne. In the evening the room does an aperitivo instead: a cheese platter with 2 glasses of wine at about AED 250, or about AED 350 with champagne, and bread, grapes and house-made jams on the board.
Nothing alcoholic is poured before noon.
