The counter is hinoki wood with just 8 seats along it, and the room looks out onto a tiny zen garden on the terrace.
Dinner has 2 sittings, at 6 and at 8.30. Lunch is served only on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so if lunch is the meal you want, book it before you arrive.
