The pavilion is reached by a lit causeway that runs out along the water from the palace itself, lanterns marking the way.
A second, smaller chattri stands out in the lake itself, half in the water, visible from the table as the light goes.
One table is laid at a time, set for whichever size of party has booked it, with glass, flowers and candlelight arranged fresh for that evening rather than left standing between bookings.
