A long table laid on the lawn at dusk with lanterns down its centre, an open-air kitchen and a musician playing under the trees behind it.

Only one table runs the length of the lawn, laid for a large party under a row of lanterns; smaller tables for 2 or 4 sit further back among the trees, each lit the same way.

The kitchen stands apart under its own tiled roof, open on every side, close enough to the tables that the smell of the grill reaches them.

Everything on the grill is cooked to order: chicken, mutton and vegetable skewers marinated ahead of time and finished as each table sits down. A small drinks station stands under a domed pavilion off to one side, for a round before or after dinner.
