Beach Deluxe Suite

There are 9 of these, strung along the edge of the beach under the palms, and most of them have their own way down onto it. The plan is two rooms rather than one: a super king-size bedroom whose sliding wooden panels open onto the terrace and the sea, and a separate living room with a large daybed in it, which is where a family of 4 becomes possible. Between them, behind another set of sliding doors, is the bathroom, with a tub.

What makes the grade is the outside. Each suite has a verandah under its own pitched roof — a covered sitting area with a long banquette, a sun lounging deck beyond it, and a terrace beyond that, so the day moves from shade to sun without leaving the suite. Two people fit here most naturally, but the daybed converts for two children, and there is a door between them and you.
