Chandni

The terrace looks across Lake Pichola at the City Palace, and there is nothing between the two but water.

Each table sits under its own canopy, and after dark the light comes from candles.

Live music plays through dinner, traditional, on the terrace itself. The kitchen is Suryamahal's and the carte is the same one. The choice here is not what to eat but where to sit.

Nothing covers the terrace, so the weather decides. On a bad evening the same dinner is laid indoors at Suryamahal instead.
