The Outdoor Pool. The pool sits under a run of mature trees on the lawn side of the house, tiled deep blue with white loungers and umbrellas along both edges. It is the only pool on the property outside the Tata Suite's own, and it keeps its shade well into the afternoon.
J Wellness Circle. The spa runs on Ayurvedic lines, its treatments organised around the 5 elements of Indian wellness — jal, vayu, agni, prithvi and akash: water, air, fire, earth and space. Vishrama, the signature treatment, opens with a hot herbal compress and works through the muscle groups with alternating palm and thumb strokes. A separate yoga and meditation programme gives equal weight to postures, breathing and meditation.
The Fitness Centre. The fitness centre runs to 150 square metres, split between a gymnasium with treadmills, cross-trainers and free weights, and a separate studio room kept for yoga, aerobics and general stretching, with its own resistance bands and mats.
The Chambers. The Chambers is the house's own business club, reflecting the same heritage as the hotel around it and offering its members signature services on the property.
Prince of Wales Lawns, and the Estate's Event Spaces. The Prince of Wales Lawn holds intimate celebrations in the open air, one of several outdoor spaces for an event. Indoors, a pillarless ballroom and rooms named Cycad, Gulmohar Hall, Tamarind and Plumeria hold everything from a board meeting for a handful of people to an indoor wedding for hundreds.
Heritage Walk, and the Gardens. The estate runs to 20 acres, and a naturalist leads a guided walk through it, past a rain tree that has stood here more than 200 years and Karnataka's oldest operational post box. The cycads themselves are centuries old.
