The kitchen runs several registers on one menu without making a case for any of them: a chapter of Rajasthani home cooking sits across from Italian pastas, Sichuan-leaning stir-fries, and the club sandwiches and burgers of an American coffee shop.
Nothing here asks a table to choose a cuisine for the evening — the room's whole idea is that everyone at it can order something different and be equally right.
This is also the house's one breakfast room for most of the ladder. The two Taj Club Rooms take breakfast in the Taj Club lounge instead, before the day divides into whatever else is on it.
