Beyond the pool, the loungers sit in rows under a run of white arched pergolas, each bay giving onto its own cabana, and a freestanding timber frame marks the point where the deck gives way to the beach.

Tables are round, set with pastel-blue woven chairs, DRIFT's own bottled oil and vinegar standing beside the glassware rather than a condiment tray.

None of it can be booked while the closure holds. What is written here is the room as it last operated, not a promise of when the doors reopen.
