Shelves of artisan breads and pastries stack up above a glass case of small desserts, and trays of crusty loaves cool on the counter, dark-crusted and scored across the top.
The menu sets classic British favourites beside internationally known sourdough, and the shop is meant for the neighbourhood as much as for the hotel — a pause between meetings, or a picnic.
