Superior Room and King Accessible Superior Room look inward, at 57 to 62 square metres, and are the only two that do not name a view. Everything else faces one of two ways: Palm Jumeirah and its own sunset, or the double Burj skyline across the Gulf.

King Pearl Club Room and its two-queen twin, and the 3 one-bedroom suites, sit on whichever side of the building carries the Burj or Palm Jumeirah view.

A king bed or two queens, on 6 of the 16

Superior Room and its accessible twin take a king only. The 3 Deluxe and Pearl Club room grades each sell twice — once with a king, once with 2 queens — at the same size and the same view, so the choice is the bed rather than the room.

Two rooms joined, for a party of 6

Family Connecting Room joins a king room to a two-queen one behind a connecting door, one booking for both, and takes up to 6. It is the only grade here that puts 2 separate rooms under one booking without also being called a suite.

The Pearl Club floor

The 5th floor holds a private lounge — breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés — and 7 of the 16 grades carry access to it: King Pearl Club Room and its two-queen twin, both one-bedroom Pearl Club and Waldorf Astoria suites, the 2-Bedroom Waldorf Suite, Chairman Two Bedroom Suite and Royal Suite. The other 9 do not.

The 3 one-bedroom suites run 113 to 160 square metres with a separate living and dining room. Two of the two-bedroom suites split a king and 2 queens between 2 rooms without a published size, and Chairman Two Bedroom Suite does the same at 386.
