The private entrance opens onto a spacious living pavilion with two bedrooms beside it, both with panoramic sea views; one of those has an adjoining sea-view room that can be opened up on request. Stairs go down to the main deck and the 20-metre infinity pool, which sits directly over the bay with manicured lawn and tropical planting dropping to the coastline below.

Two more master bedrooms sit next to the central living and dining pavilion at that level, joined by the pool decks. From there a garden-fringed path runs down to the shore, where there are tide pools to poke about in and an old banyan to sit under — the sort of thing a house on 2,720 square metres of seaside land can offer and a hotel villa cannot. A dedicated cook and one housekeeper look after it, sleeping 8 adults with 4 extra beds.
