Luxury Suite with Private Pool

It is a compound rather than a suite: a wall, a gate, and inside it a domed living pavilion, a bedroom wing, a garden of frangipani and a pool of your own. Once you are through the gate you do not see another guest, and — this is the part the Oberoi has thought hardest about — you do not see the staff arriving either. There is a second entrance for them, kept out of sight, so a tray appears without anybody having crossed your garden to bring it.

The pavilion is the room the suite is built around: high, domed, open on the garden side, cool at 4 in the afternoon when the rest of Rajasthan is not. The bedroom is a separate building in effect, which means the two halves can keep different hours.
