The largest thing in the building, and it goes up as well as along: 409 square metres over two floors. The living room has a gilded four-poster at one end, two deep sofas facing each other, a wall of books and gilt-framed paintings, an 86-inch screen and a piano. Then a dining room for 6, a full kitchen, a private study, a walk-in wardrobe and a humidor.
The other half is the reason to take it. There is a fitness area, an infrared sauna, a spa daybed, and a plunge pool standing in a double-height hall walled floor to ceiling in carved stone screens, with a gold-tiled platform over the water. Bang & Olufsen throughout, TOTO in the bathrooms, Illy espresso and cappuccino machines. The concierge arranges it.
A child is 12 or under.
Two children share the room. A bed goes in only where the grade takes one, and most here do not. The figure is before tax, and no room is sold at triple occupancy.
