Grande Heritage Lake View Room

This is the room that makes the address make sense, and the reason to take it over the balcony version above is not the obvious one: the window is plain. No railing, no screen, so the frame holds the whole view — the lake, the far shore and the hills — from the bed.

Otherwise it is the standard room here, and the standard is high: dark wood with tarkashi brass inlay, gold-figured silk, a tall arched mirror, an orange armchair drawn up to the glass, and a bed you can lie on facing east. It is sold in either the Lake wing or the Palace wing. Two guests, one child of 6 to 12 on an extra bed. There are 20 of them.
