Theme Suites

A living room with a grey sectional sofa and a mustard-green chair around a wood-topped coffee table on a chrome frame, dark panels patterned with gold birds behind, Chinese vases on a black lacquer shelf to one side, and a glass balcony door onto a view of the Fullerton Hotel's colonnade and city towers.

There are 5 Theme Suites, all 78 square metres, and each is decorated differently. Robinson Suite, on level 4, is worked in ornate Oriental panelling; Shenton Suite, also level 4, takes its silk wall panels and its mustard-and-saffron palette from Mughal India. Anderson Suite and Clifford Suite share level 5, the first in Peranakan floral silk, the second in Malay motifs and gold; Cavenagh Suite alone occupies level 6, in the cream and taupe of the colonial period. Every one carries a separate living room beyond the bedroom.

Every one has butler service too.

A king bed against a gold quatrefoil-patterned headboard panel, a velvet bench at its foot, Marina Bay Sands lit at dusk through the window beside it.

A king bed against a charcoal headboard patterned with gold urns, a gold silk runner and cushions on white linen, and a brown velvet bench at its foot, floor-to-ceiling glass by day onto the waterfront.
