Terrace Suite, Royal Suite and Imperial Suite are each offered facing Lake Pichola or facing away from it, into the City Palace complex — say which you want when you enquire.
Palace Room only faces away from the lake, and Presidential Suite, the single room at the top of the ladder, only faces it.
The palace holds 36 rooms and suites in total: 19 Palace Rooms and 17 suites split across the 4 grades above it. Every one is decorated individually, and many carry furniture and portraits that have stayed in the Mewar family for generations. No square-metre figure is published for any of them.
Every grade here is sold as Single or Double occupancy, and no figure above that is published anywhere. Kismet prices each room for 2 guests as a result; a third guest or a child travelling with you is a question for the concierge.
None of these 5 grades carries a bookable rate yet. The concierge quotes a price and confirms terms once you say which dates and which grade you want.
