Grand Presidential Suite

The Maharaja's own apartment: 167 square metres at the front of the palace, looking down the whole length of the lawn. It is the view in the photographs of Man Singh II, taken from roughly where the sofa now is.

Two reception rooms, a dining room and a dressing room. The bathroom was plumbed in 1931 and has been maintained rather than modernised, which is the correct decision and will strike some guests as the wrong one; if you want a rain shower and a heated mirror, take a Royal Suite instead. There are two of these in the palace, and in the season there is effectively one.
