The two-door plan is the whole idea of this suite. One door from the corridor opens onto the parlour, the other opens straight into the bedroom, so the room reads as two rooms joined rather than one with a curtain across it. A four-poster bed under a dark timber frame stands against panelled cream walls, with louvred shutters folded back at the windows and a ceiling fan turning under the moulded cornice.

The bathroom is marble throughout, laid in a black-and-white pattern underfoot, with a double vanity, a separate bathtub and a walk-in shower behind glass. A shared verandah runs along the wing outside, looking over Fern Court. 2 guests.
