Stepwell Suite

Stepwell Suite is the top of the ladder and the only one that sleeps more than 2: a master bedroom, a separate children's room, a day-bed alcove and a kitchenette, and it takes 2 adults and 2 children. There is 1 of them, perched directly above the stepwell the hotel is named for, dating to 1740 and hidden for decades before the hotel restored it.

The view runs 3 ways at once — the stepwell below, Mehrangarh Fort ahead, the blue-washed rooftops of the old town on every other side — and the materials follow the same idea: black terrazzo in the bedroom, white marble in the bathroom, rose-red sandstone across the outdoor areas. The kitchenette has an induction stove and a microwave, which nothing else in the hotel carries.
