Marina Bay Sands is 3 hotel towers on Marina Bay, joined at the top by the Sands SkyPark, 57 storeys up. Paiza guests are met by greeters and driven up a private driveway to an arrival lounge and lobby only they use. They check in over a welcome drink, in the suite or at Paiza Sky Residence. Go up to Level 57 before you unpack. The pool runs 150 metres along the roof, under palms, with the Singapore Strait beyond the far edge.
Floor-to-ceiling windows look over the city, Gardens by the Bay or the sea. The Armoire is built like a jewellery box, with teas in one compartment and snacks in the next, and a cocktail trolley of ready-mixed Negronis and Singapore Slings stands beside it. The bath is marble and big enough for two. In the Paiza rooms a television is hidden in the bathroom mirror, and in the Paiza Royal suites the bed is a handmade Savoir mattress.
A 24-hour butler team looks after every Paiza room and suite. They unpack the cases when you arrive and arrange whatever comes next, in the resort or beyond it. Paiza Sky Residence is a private club lounge at the top of the hotel, serving breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea and sundowner cocktails to Paiza guests. The Sands Signature Suite is the one Sands suite with the same butler and the same lounge.
The Infinity Pool. The pool is 150 metres long, on Level 57, and open daily from 6 in the morning until midnight. It has 3 sections: an adults-only stretch, a family area and a children's pool 0.5 metres deep near Hotel Tower 1. The main pool is at least 1.2 metres deep, and there are heated jacuzzis as well. Only hotel guests can swim, with a keycard shown at the entrance, and there is no day pass. Towels, loungers, sunscreen and bottled water are by the water. Food is served from noon to 11 at night, and drinks from 8 in the morning to 11.45 at night.
The Observation Deck. The SkyPark Observation Deck, on Level 56 of Hotel Tower 3, is the public part of the roof. It is ticketed and open from 10 in the morning to 4.30, then from 5 to 10 at night, with Gardens by the Bay and the Esplanade's domes below. A deck ticket does not get anyone into the pool, which is for hotel guests only, or into CÉ LA VI.
Banyan Tree Spa. Banyan Tree Spa is on Level 5 of Hotel Tower 2 and open only to hotel guests: from 10 in the morning to 11 at night, Sunday to Thursday, and until 1 in the morning on Friday and Saturday, with the last booking at 11. Private treatment rooms sit among water gardens, and the menu covers massages, body scrubs, baths and facials drawn from Asian traditions.
The Fitness Centre. The Fitness Centre is on Level 3 of the Expo & Convention Centre and open 24 hours to hotel guests and anyone with a personal training or yoga booking. It has treadmills, bikes, elliptical trainers, a Synergy 360 system and free weights, with headphones to borrow. Personal training runs daily from 10 in the morning to 8 at night, at about SGD 120 for 60 minutes, booked ahead. Children under 12 are not admitted. Those aged 12 to 15 need an adult with them, and those aged 16 to 18 need a parent's consent, sent to the centre by email or phone.
Paiza Sky Residence. A private club lounge at the top of the hotel, for guests of every Paiza room and suite and of the Sands Signature Suite. Breakfast and brunch, afternoon tea, and sundowner cocktails with canapés are included. Other suite guests take breakfast at The Club, RISE Restaurant or Spago Bar & Lounge.
Sands Premier Room is 45 square metres, with a king bed or 2 queens and a view of the city or Gardens by the Bay.
Sands Premier Studio is 70, with the same bed choice and a two-seater sofa added.
Sands Bay Suite is 80, in Tower 3 only, with a separate living room and a 2-seater dining table.
Sands Premier Suite runs 95 to 130 square metres: 1 bedroom for up to 3 guests, or 2 bedrooms for up to 6.
Sands Family Suite runs 85 to 145, with a child-friendly kitchenette, a kids' room with bunk beds, and access to The Play Den and The Pantry.

The Play Den and The Pantry. A play and craft studio for guests of the Sands Family Suite and the Paiza Family Suite, with guided activities, arts and crafts, foam building blocks and board games. The Pantry keeps childcare essentials to borrow or buy: nappies, swim nappies, a digital thermometer, a steam steriliser and a bottle and food warmer. On Sundays and Thursdays at 4.30 in the afternoon, a children's wellness session runs in the Level 57 garden by the pool: a sound journey on Sunday, yoga on Thursday.
Getting Here. Marina Bay Sands is at 10 Bayfront Avenue, on Marina Bay. The casino is part of the same resort. Because Marina Bay Sands is an affiliate of a US company, it cannot admit people who are solely nationals of Cuba, Iran, North Korea or Syria, or residents of Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk, to the casino, or handle foreign-currency transactions for them. The hotel and its restaurants are open to every guest.
