The Khon-Jorn were the clan who kept moving, and their houses were built to be struck and carried. The roof and the walls here really are canvas, lifted over a frame in two peaks, and you really can hear the rain on them and the cicadas through them. Waking up in it is the closest thing here to sleeping outside while being entirely comfortable. There is a travel chest and a campaign dressing corner with a folding stand and a mirror, and in the room they read as restraint rather than as set dressing.
One master bedroom with a king under a coronet of netting, a stand-alone tub at the glass with the hills beyond it, a monsoon shower and an outdoor shower, and 30 square metres of pool running the length of the deck — the largest private pool here, alongside the Bird's Nest. It sleeps 2. Take it over the Clay Pool Cottage if you want to be up in the trees and hear the weather; take the Clay if you want thick walls and shade.
