Inside it is the house's standard language — the bed under its scalloped arch, the carved headboard, the geometric carpet, the sitting corner under a brass lantern — and the bathroom in this grade is the arabesque one, with a marble bath and a walk-in shower.

The reason to take it is directly below the balustrade. The balcony hangs over one of the resort's own channels, green and still, with palms on the far bank and traditional abras passing through at intervals from 10 in the morning until midnight. It is the least dramatic of the 3 views and the most companionable. It is the only Deluxe grade that includes non-motorised watersports. It takes 4 guests at most, 3 of them adults.
