Renaissance Suite

There are 3 of these suites, and each has its own painted ceiling. The Scala Suite has Rubens-inspired frescoes of angels and cherubs, and a woman who stands for the triumph of spring. The Stephenson Suite's ceiling was painted in the 19th century, when the Italian Train Society owned the palazzo, in honour of George Stephenson. In the Conti Suite, the bathroom frescoes show the temple that stands in the hotel garden. Each is one large room, with a velvet sofa and armchairs under oversized windows.

The bathroom is marble, with a freestanding soaking tub at its centre. Depending on the suite, the windows face the hotel garden or the neighbouring gardens. It takes 3 adults, or 2 adults and a child, with a rollaway bed or a crib on request.
