Bahaar: a long room over a black-and-white chequered marble floor, banquettes and cane-backed chairs down both sides, arched windows to the left and a service counter of pale stone at the far end.

Bahaar is the palace's brasserie, and much of the food is laid out as a buffet around the live stations.

Breakfast starts with fresh coffee and pastries baked in the house. There are vegetarian dishes throughout the day, and gluten-free options.
